To our potential sponsor:
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade & Festivities Committee is a 501(c)(3) corporation that for 43 years, has annually organized and presented innovative, entertaining, signature MLK Holiday events that commemorate the life and legacy of the civil rights icon. This celebration is the foundation on which we promote the individual value and potential of all people as a means to eliminate poverty, racism, and violence everywhere.
Recognizing society’s formidable 21st century challenges, our new advocacy expands education and community service, especially for youth and families. To that end, our efforts, rooted in Dr. King’s dream and vision, are predicated on empowering a new generation of powerful, positive, social change-makers.
Our 2020 theme is “The Community in UNITY.” We endeavor to encourage people to support a community based on the tenets of love and mutual cooperation that Dr. King espoused and actively live and advocate for those philosophies so that together, we create a more harmonious, equitable, and prosperous world.
Please join us in sponsoring this signature MLK Holiday event, which is the oldest and largest in the nation. We need and appreciate your financial support, as well as in-kind donations of products or services, which are tax-deductible according to current IRS guidelines.
